The work of Samuel Beckett has had a significant impact on the development of theatre over the past 50 years. He is considered one of the most important playwrights and practitioners in the history of theatre. Yet, his work is rarely performed in Belfast.

This March at the Brian Friel Theatre, Drama Studies at Queen’s will bring Beckett back to Belfast with students embarking on an exciting project to produce a number of Beckett’s shorter plays. These plays provide some of the most striking theatrical images of the twentieth century.

With Not I, Come and Go and Catastrophe among the plays in this production, this will prove to be one of the most intriguing nights in the theatrical calendar next year.
